Refreshing Fresh Peach Daiquiri
(Alcohol & Non Alcohol Version Included)
Summertime is here! On a hot summer day, how about a cool glass of fresh peach daiquiris? They are very simple and easy to make. These delicious summer cocktails are made with fresh peaches, some vodka, lime juice and soda. Of course, you can make a non-alcohol version by simply omitting the alcohol and replacing it with rum extract. Everyone can now enjoy this refreshing cocktail.
Ingredients:
- 3 Large Peaches (Peeled & Pitted)
- ½ Cup Chilled 7-Up (You can substitute with Sprite)
- 2 Tablespoons Vodka/Rum (For non-alcohol version use ¼ teaspoon rum extract)
- ½ Teaspoon Superfine Sugar (-/+ or to taste)
- 1/2 Teaspoon Lime Juice
- Crushed Ice (Enough per-serving)
- Fresh Mints (Optional)
- Maraschino Cherry (Optional)
Instructions:
- Peel off the skins and remove the pit of the peach.
- Cut them into chunks and purée them in a blender or food processor. Do this in batches if necessary.
- Transfer the peach purée into a pitcher.
- To the peach purée, combine lime juice, sugar, vodka/rum and 7-up (For non alcohol omit alcohol and use rum extract)
- Stir until combined.
- Add shaved ice or crushed ice to a serving glass.
- Pour the peach mixture into two glasses and top with more shaved or crushed ice as desired.
- Garnish with mint and maraschino cherries and enjoy.
- For more servings, double up the ingredients in the recipe.

Tips & Notes:
- Double up the ingredients if you serve more than two.
- If fresh peaches are not available, you can use 1-2 sugar free canned peaches (If small use 2, if large use 1 can) or roughly 2 cups of frozen peaches.
- You can use this recipe for a non-alcoholic version by simply omitting the alcohol and replacing it with rum extract.
- Adjust sugar to taste. **If you use sugar canned peaches, adjust the sugar or sweetener according to your taste buds.
- You can substitute superfine sugar with your choice of sweetener.
- We used 7-Up soda but you can use Sprite if you like.
- Since we used soda, we only added a little bit of sugar to the recipe. However, you can adjust the sugar or sweetness according to your taste buds.
- You can substitute soda with water but you have to adjust the amount of sugar/sweetener accordingly.
- Add more shaved or crushed ice if necessary.
- Instead of shaved or crushed ice, you can use ice cubes.
