Supreme Soy Sauce Vegetables Fried Ramen
If you are a fan of ramen and stir fry, do try this simple & easy to make and yet delicious Supreme Soy Sauce Vegetables Fried Ramen recipe. It doesn’t require a lot of ingredients to make this and definitely a delicious meal as your dinner or even in your bento lunch box to school/work that can be prepared ahead of time.
Ingredients
- 5 Ramen noodles – dried
- 1/4 Cup Carrot (Julienned)
- 1/4 Cup Cabbage (Julienned)
- 3-4 Tablespoons Light soy sauce
- 2 -3 Tablespoons Mushroom Flavour Dark Soy Sauce
- 1.5 Tablespoons Chopped Fresh Garlic
- 1/8 Cup Water/Vegetable stock
- 1/4 Tablespoon Sesame Oil
- 2 Tablespoons Oyster Sauce
- 3 Tablespoons oil
- 1/2-1 Teaspoon Pepper
- Salt to taste (optional)
- Chopped Jalapeño/red chilli infused in soy sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and add dried ramen noodle patties in boiling water.
- Cook the noodles for 3 minutes or until all the noodles loosen up. Drain the ramen noodles and set it aside.
- Next, heat up cooking oil in a wok at medium heat and stir fry the chopped fresh garlic for a minute.
- Add cabbage, carrots and stir fry for 2 minutes.
- Add in ramen noodles and give it a quick stir to combine the vegetables. Turn up the heat to medium high. Stir fry for a minute or two.
- Add in light soy sauce, mushroom flavored dark soy sauce, sesame oil & oyster sauce.
- Mix and stir fry the ramen noodles for about 4 - 5 minutes until noodles combine evenly with the sauce. Add salt to taste if necessary, pepper and some water/vegetable stock at this point.
- Serve immediately with the side of chopped Jalapeños or fresh red chilli infused in soy sauce. This is optional.

Tips & Notes
- Other than dried ramen noodles, alternatively you can use dried egg noodles or Lo Mein noodles.
- Adjust salt accordingly as we used soy sauce in the recipe. You can omit the salt like I did in the recipe if the taste is just right to your taste buds.
- Add extra water if needed but not too much.
- You can use any vegetables, not just cabbage and carrots.
- Instead of water, you can use vegetable stock.
- If you prefer darker fried noodles, add extra dark soy sauce.
- Instead of mushroom flavored dark soy sauce, you can use regular dark soy sauce, thick soy sauce or sweet dark soy sauce.
- If fresh garlic is not available, you can use garlic powder.
- For vegetarian, omit oyster sauce completely in my recipe or use vegetarian oyster sauce if you prefer.
